Art Instruction

St. Johns County School District has certified me to Teach Art K-12, given my four year degree from UNF. If you are seeking an art teacher for hire in Jacksonville and St. Augustine areas, feel free to reach out to J Lacey Taylor to learn about her availability.

I recently taught a Mixed Media Madness week of Summer Camp at the Ponte Vedra Culture Center. They interviewed my students and here is what they had to say,…

Interviewer: “How would you rate this camp on a scale of 1-10? 10 being the highest and why?

Vivian B.: “10 because I didn’t like art at the beginning and then when I came here right when we did our first project I loved art right away.”

Interviewer: “Do you think the instructor and volunteer are helpful?”

Vivian B.: Yes. They’re both really really nice and they always help me out when I need help.”

Interviewer: “How would you describe this camp to someone that is thinking about going to art camp?”

Catherine W.: “It is really fun and you never get bored.”

Interviewer: “Do you think that the instructor and volunteers are helpful?”

Catherine W.: “The instructor is helpful and the volunteer is nice.”

Interviewer: “How would you rate this camp on a scale of 1 to 10? 10 being the best and why?”

Lucy L.:It’s fun.”

Interviewer: “What have you learned?”

Lucy L.: “We learned how to make a jellyfish. We got these little colors – they were shiny and then you got to do pastels.”
